Greetings! My name is Linda and I have a passion for all things pretty. That passion was born when I was just a young girl (back in 1960-something). During an otherwise not-so-memorable visit to the Henry Ford Museum at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan, I came upon an exhibit of gorgeous china and crystal. Display case after display case filled with the most beautiful treasures I had ever seen in my life. And, of course, I wanted it all.
Now, many years later, my husband Bill and I have begun to buy and sell those very same treasures. (They have become antiques now – as have we.) We scour estates sales and auctions searching for just the right items and only buy those things that live up to our standard of “pretty.” For a brief while I get to enjoy them as “mine” before passing them on to buyers who will hopefully love them as much as I do. And, thus, Not Just Haviland was born.
