This lovely Victorian cookie plate/charger is the epitome of romantic. Its delicate pink flowers, yellow flowers, copper stems and leaves are raised embossed and are all outlined in gold. The creamy white background is enhanced with a pale pink blush behind the largest floral arrangement. The plate gently curves upward toward a scalloped outer rim that is trimmed in gold and enhanced with embossed spirals and pleats.
The plate is heavy and measures 12 inches in diameter. The backmark reads simply FRANCE in green. |
